Riverdale Y Rapids - Practice Group (Ages 9-10)

Children ages 9 and 10 year-olds who are just beginning their swim team journey. All swimmers in this group must already be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke with some knowledge of butterfly as well. Swimmers joining this group should also be able to dive headfirst from at least the side of the pool. In this group, we are dedicated to teaching proper stroke mechanics while introducing swimmers to the world of competitive swimming. All Wayves are eligible for competitions.
