Riverdale Y Rapids - Practice Group (12 & over)

Swimmers 12 & over who have participated for more than two year on a swim team and can swim 50 yards in all four strokes. Swimmers placed in this group must also be able to dive from the blocks, perform all open and flip turns and be able to train at a fairly high level in practice. Our season will focus on stroke technique and instruction with practices geared towards increasing yardage and training on more challenging set times in practice. As this is our most competitive group, we expect swimmers to attend an average of three (3) practices per week throughout the season and participate in all swimming competitions.
